Halo fans everywhere are waiting impatiently for the Halo 4 release on November 6th. Don't expect the same game, with the same enemies and same environment. 343 Industries has stated that they are in this to carry out their own vision, and changes in gameplay, visuals and the storyline are to be expected. This game is a start of a new trilogy, so know there WILL be a Halo 5 and 6.
Unlike Reach, Master Chief is again the main character of the game, along with an AI, Cortana. According to reports, 343 will attempt to bring you closer to the characters in a way that Bungee never did. Character development will be the focus, which may mean that the campaign will be much deeper, and a bigger part of the game than it has as of late. Multiplayer sold Halo 3 and Reach, not a campaign, but maybe 343 can change the trend that Halo has been taking.
The game is set 5 years after Halo 3, and Master Chief has been adrift in space with the AI, Cortana. Cortana aged well past her natural lifespan, and as AI's do, becomes rampant, similar to a human turning insane. They end up on a Forerunner planet named Requiem, where Master Chief must fight some force that threatens the entire universe. The game will not just be a shooter, but also involve much more mystery and exploration.
There is an exciting twist to multiplayer, called Halo Infinity Multiplayer. The home of the multiplayer is the UNSC Infinity, the largest ship in the UNSC fleet. This will serve as the center of your custom Spartan IV supersoldier's career. I'm guessing there will be plenty of unlocks and costomizable gear.

Gamers who played Halo 4 at E3 stated that it plays like a mix of Halo 3 and Reach. There will be plenty of new weapons and vehicles, and a whole new enemy to face. Look here for a list of new weapons seen at E3. Multiplayer will be good as always, and from the gameplay footage, there appears to be improved graphics. I'm just as excited as all of you for this release, and have been looking out for gameplay videos.
